Our parent-child classes are designed to
support the parent and child from birth through entry into Mixed-Age Kindergarten.

Encompassing preschool and kindergarten, our play-based program is designed to nourish children’s senses and imagination, build physical stamina and coordination, cultivate social capacities, and lay the foundation for literacy and numeracy.

Formal academics begin in first grade with a curriculum that are designed to build a broad and diverse range of capacities. Concepts are brought through story, imagery, and direct experience. In additional traditional subjects, students have specialty classes in Japanese, Spanish, Handwork, Movement, Music, and beginnign in 4th grade, Strings.
